Angiography

Angiography or angeiography was at first used as a representation of the weights and measures.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

MRI is a method in which the electromagnetic energy is calculated and evaluated by a computer and particular pictures of body tissues and organs exclusive of x-rays. The images are seen on a monitor. MR angiography (MRA) is an MRI study of the blood vessels. No contrast material is utilized in this test.

MRA is less costly as compared with catheter angiography. Comprehensive or complete images of blood vessels and blood flow are attained without inserting a catheter, hence preventing arterial damage.
